摘要: Recent years have seen an increased number of studies on self-related stimuli. While many these studies show neural activity in cortical midline structures, the psychological, neural and biochemical mechanisms remain unclear. I here present studies showing the neural overlap between self and rest, the impact of self on decision making, and the modulation of internal awareness by GABA.
