<span font-size:16px;"="">In this talk, I will give an overview of the different neuroscience studies I have conducted to better understand our social and emotional brain. Topics covered include the neuroscience of intergroup relations, empathy, morality and Theory of Mind. I will also briefly discuss some of the new topics that we are planning to explore such as treating PTSD with real-time fMRI neurofeedback and building stress resilience through a physical and mental intervention program. To investigate these topics, I use a wide range of techniques such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), voxel-based lesion symptom mapping (VLSM), tract-wise statistical analyses (TSA), blood analyses, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), voxel-based morphometry (VBM), activation likelihood estimation (ALE) meta-analyses and neuropsychological testing in stroke patients.
