Title: Understanding form and function of the human brain through study of genetic disease
Speaker: Prof. Joseph Gleeson, Professor of Neuroscience, University of California San Diego
Time:13:00-15:00, October 9, 2018
Location: Room 1113, Wang Kezhen Building
Abstract:
The goal of the Gleeson Lab is to uncover novel genetic mechanisms of pediatric brain disease that can impact our understanding of human brain form and function. The lab studies special human populations where high impact genetic mutations contribute to disease. These mutations have suggested novel ways to treat and prevent disease in humans.
